Batman

The Batman story ranges over four movies of different caliber. The first - Batman - where he surfaces in Gotham City, as he battles a threat to the peace in form of the Joker. He is helped by the curious and beautiful reporter Vicki Vale. This movie is the best of the four. In the sequel - Batman Returns - he battles the alliance between the Penguin and the Catwoman. Another threat is the cold business man Max Shreck. In the third movie - Batman Forever - the director changed, that you can see. Also Batman changed and that's also a big handicap. Val Kilmer isn't bad but he's not better than Michael Keaton in the first. The movie is more actionpacked than the two first but it also lost the dark tones. The criminals in the third is Two-Face and the Riddler and Batmans girlfriend is the glamorous Dr. Chase Meridian. Batman also receives a partner in form of Robin. The fourth - Batman & Robin - is even more actionpacked than the third and that has a bad effect. The criminals are Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy. Batman receives even more help in form of Batgirl and that's just to much. The movies get more and more bad but all of them are very good.
